Meet Dr. William Kapgan
Dr. William Kapgan grew up in Los Angeles. He attended UCLA and received a degree in physiology. He then went on to dental school at University of Pacific in San Francisco. After dental school, Dr. Kapgan did a general practice residency in Minneapolis, MN then an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in University of Connecticut. After this, Dr. Kapgan completed a 4 year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Kapgan is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Kapgan's priority is patient safety and comfort. He will always take the time fully explain procedures and options that are available.

I would like to personally thank Dr. Kapgan and his his entire Dental Staff for truly making my Dental Experience a Great one!!! He took away all of my Dental Anxieties, and helped me to relax while I was having my Wisdom Teeth surgically removed!!!! I would "HIGHLY"recommend Dr. Kapgan if you are looking for someone who is Super Knowledgeable, Experienced, Gentle To The Touch, Patient, and someone who truly understand how having Wisdom Teeth Surgically Removed Can be a very scary and uncomfortable feeling. So Dr. Kapgan definitely comes Highly Recommended!!!
OMG! I was so nervous because I had a few bad experiences with Oral Surgeons. Dr. Kapgan is one of the best. He knows what he is doing. He talk me through everything he was doing. He made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. The staff is amazing very kind and professional. All I can is don't deprive your self of the best dental care. I will use him for all my dental needs.
Today was my second visit with Dental world! My first visit was in 2017, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kapgan and he did an amazing job. I had no problems or issues after my extractions and my gums heal well after. He recommended that I come back and see him for additional care. I was beyond nervous at this appointment because I tried a deep cleaning before in the past and it was horrible. I cant deal with the pain and the numb shots. The Dentist I seen today was very patient and understanding with me. She was very informative and her compassion was visual. I will be returning to see her in about two weeks to complete the other side and already i feel more at ease. She didn't rush me out of the office to get the next person in (like many other dental and Dr offices do) she gave me the time and respect I deserved. I found my dental home! This is a great place. I recommend it to everyone!
Very professional, warm, and courteous staff! I received my first oral surgery today and Dr. Kapgan made the experience really soothing and erased any anxiety that I was having. Would highly recommend!
Dr. Kapgan, is an excellent oral surgeon and a master of his profession. it would be hard if not impossible to find an oral surgeon who compares, but his partner Dr. Plavnik does. You’re in caring hands at Dental World.
