Oral Surgery at Dental World

Oral Surgery at Dental World

Oral surgery resolves dental problems that cannot be treated with fillings or cleanings. It removes infection, relieves pain, repairs damage, and prepares your mouth for future treatments like implants or crowns.

At Dental World, all surgical procedures are performed safely and efficiently in our office. We use modern techniques and effective local anesthesia to keep you pain-free. For added comfort, we also offer sedation options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and IV sedation.

Our goal is to stop pain, prevent complications, and help you return to normal eating, speaking, and smiling — without discomfort.

Our Oral Surgery Services

Oral Surgery at Dental World

At Dental World, we offer a full range of in-office oral surgery procedures. Each one is performed under local anesthesia, with optional sedation for extra comfort.

Tooth Removal

  • Wisdom Teeth Removal
Surgical removal of wisdom teeth that are stuck under the gum, growing at the wrong angle, or causing pain and swelling.
  • Tooth Extractions
Removal of teeth that are too damaged, decayed, or infected to save. This helps stop pain and prevent further problems.
  • Exposure and Bonding of Impacted Canines
Helping adult canine teeth that are stuck under the gum come into place by uncovering them and attaching them to orthodontic appliances.

Gum and Bone Treatments

  • Gum Surgery
Treatment for advanced gum disease or overgrown gum tissue. We remove infected or excess tissue and reshape the gums to restore health and appearance.
  • Bone Grafting and Sinus Lifts
Rebuilding bone in areas where it’s too thin or soft to support a dental implant. This creates a strong foundation for future restoration.
  • Cyst Removal
Surgical removal of fluid-filled sacs that form in the jaw or around teeth and can damage bone or neighboring teeth if left untreated.
  • Abscess Drainage
Relieves pain and swelling by removing trapped infection from around a tooth or under the gums.

Restorative Procedures

  • Dental Implants
Placement of titanium posts in the jaw to replace missing teeth. These act as permanent roots for crowns, bridges, or dentures.
  • Apicoectomy
If infection remains at the tip of a tooth root after a root canal, we can remove just the tip of the root and the surrounding infected tissue to save the tooth and stop the infection.

Diagnostic Procedure

  • Biopsy
Removal of a small sample of suspicious tissue for testing, to rule out serious conditions.
